The past few months......

This blogging thing is new. Just actually discovered it. So I will give it a try.

There are so many things that have been going on in my life recently that this is the first week I have actually been able to slow down and get back to a normal routine at home, work, etc.

My husband Tim and I recently returned from our dream vacation and I feel as though I need another one to recover from what followed.

We went to Mexico in April to try our HM agian, the first try did not end so well with Hurricane Wilma making her appearance. It took me a little while to convince Tim to go but we had a great time and we will definitely do something like that again just maybe visit some place new.

When we returned we had a week of our normal life and then I was off to Myrtle Beach for a work conference and during this time Tim had to make a trip to OH to be with his family, it seemed that his grandmothers cancer had progressed faster than expected. So I was on stand by for quite a while as to whether I would stay in Myrtle beach or head to OH to be with my husband for her funeral.

I returned from the beach on Friday May 11 and we go the call that she had passed away and had to make our way the next morning to go and be with our family during this trying time. We are dealing with our grief as well as to be expected, but the family was very fortunate in preparing for this tragedy and celebrating here life to the fullest while she was with us.

We finally returned home on Wed May 16 and we headed back to work, it surreal to come back to all of the work that sat there while we were out, but I think we are both just glad to be back home and enjoying our home, our cat, and our life.
