Trying Something New

I weighed again this morning....just bc I think there was still bloat left over from the ham on Sunday. Back down to last week of 155.5....I'll take it!

So meaning I can start fresh this week! So laying in bed last night reading a mag I came across a walking plan that was advertised. Before beginning the 30DS I used the treadmill mainly and did interval training. I would walk with running intervals. It was good cardio. So when I began the Shred I didnt have time to do the treadmill too. AT just cant handle me not giving him attention for an hr straight and honestly after a whole days work neither can I. I miss the little guy.

So reading this article made me think what if I put in a little extra effort first thing in the morning. Im an okay morning person I guess you could say. Once I get up I can go go go. One of the walking plans was for a mom who had no time.....ding ding ding....ME! It suggested adding in short spurts of exercise during the day still coming out with the same reuslts. So I look at Tim and say "do you think I could get my butt out of bed like 15/20 minutes early every morning and do a quick interval run bf work." He says "No".....well now I want to prove him wrong!

So I have decided that 4 mornings out of the week I am going to add in interval cardio. My plan would consist of the Shred and Intervals, hopefully switching it up enough to jumpstart my weightloss and kick these last 5 lbs. Still doing the Shred 6days a week resting on Sat. Then adding the intervals Tues-Fri mornings. Im going to try it at least for 2 weeks to see if it helps any or if it just makes me so tired that I cant give the Shred my all. I dont have to fly through the intervals but a quick 20 minutes is doable and prob will start my day off great.

So Level 2 begins tomorrow night, with intervals starting on Friday morning....repeat. I have to work late tonight for meetings so again....the world works against me :(
