Weekend Recap

It was a busy one! Another gorgeous weekend here in NC. I think spring is gone and we went straight to summer.

So Friday around lunch we headed out to Holden Beach, NC. It was an adventure getting AT to nap and sleep in the hotel room. He wasnt too sure about the play pen that we called a "crib" while we were gone. We learned a few tricks :)

So once we got checked in we headed to dinner and Wal-mart to pick up a few essentials for the beach excursion on Saturday. We actaully stayed in Shalotte and had to drive about 10minutes over the intercoastal waterway to get to Holden Beach. Tim and I have never been bf. It was okay I guess you could say, there wasnt much happening, and thank goodness there werent mile high hotels crowding the beach itself. It is a fishing beach, and there are mainly rental homes along the beach. Some nice, some not so much. It was fun to see some place different.

So Saturday we loaded up....and I mean loaded up and headed over to the beach house my dad had rented for the week. It was SO nice to have this bc of AT. I dont know what I would have done if I hadnt had a tub to throw him in once we were ready to leave. He was SO gross, he had sand everywhere....mouth, ears, eyes, just everywhere! But he was cute while it lasted :) We stayed a few hours and then headed back to the hotel to rest up bf the wedding.



This is a long story....well sort of?? In my teens I was SO close with my step sister. I hung out at my dads every other weekend for several years, as well as weeks at a time sometimes. My step sister and I share a name....Jennifer, and we are barely 6m apart. We were inseperable for a long time.

Sometime around my junior yr in HS I had a falling out with my dad and I stopped going as much. We tried to keep in touch but life just got in the way....and well we just grew up. Apart too I guess, and I am a little sad about this I guess. I love her to death but she is so different now. Not in a bad way or anything I guess we just lost that connection you know.....change and getting old sometimes sucks. She has had a pretty tough life like myself and we always related to eachother, and I am so glad to say she has found happiness and a new life. So that is why we traveled to Holden Beach to see her marry her very best friend. I was filled with happiness for her bc I know this is something she has wanted for SOOOO long! So I am sharing a few pics from her gorgeous wedding day! It was a really good time, who could have asked for better weather.

We came home at a decent time Sunday that I was able to get some house work done and a nap :) Im glad we went, it gave me a sneak peak of what Sept is going to be like at Hilton Head, which BTW I cannot wait to go! We have a few more trips planned in the next few months, so that should hold me over.

Katie & Ethan your up next! I am over the moon about their wedding, Im getting there early for a good seat and will be the papparazzi for sure!

Weight Update:
The scale was NOT nice to me this morning. I guess I took "beach vacation mode" a little too far. Im back up to 156!! So that brings me to +2.5lbs. ::Sticks out lower lip:: Im so mad at myself too bc I worked so hard and thought I had accomplished getting under 155. Usually once I make it under a 5 or 0 it sticks...WRONG!

Im going to work extra hard this week to see those numbers go back down for next week. I have a ton of house work to do, it just keeps staring at me. So if I can keep moving and adding Jillian and cardio in there, along with getting back in my eating routine I shoud have good news soon. It is so EASY to put it on!

I also wore a 2pc this weekend, I wasnt a catwalk model by any means but I didnt look hideous either. I just cant find a decent suit to hold me up.....so I'll be THAT girl for now I guess. Stay tuned!
