It was serene.....just like this picture. We had an awesome little getaway with new friends that we hope will become old friends. We hit up the aquarium, went to eat, cooked out, lounged on the beach and the pool. It was really a great trip! AT loved the sand and the ocean.
I did really well food wise while we were there, we were so busy with the beach and pool I think I got a workout or two in. I walked in the pool from one side to the other each time we took a dip, i timed mself most of the time. I could feel my legs burning. AT napped alot while we were there so I was able to do this while socializing.
Our next beach trip we will have a private pool at the house so laps in the morning will be a must. For now Im just taking it day by day. I struggle one minute and feel great the next. Im in that funk...only bc I cant get in a routine right now. I know once things turn around and we arent so busy I can devot myself 100%. For now Ill take the maintenance that I seem to do very well with.
