Big Changes in the Stary Life :)

Well not huge but lets just say it will get crazy soon. It is Monday and the beginning of one of my last two weeks here at RH. Yep that is right I was offered the job @ TMC. It happened last Thursday and it has taken me a while to wrap my mind around it. I told my boss the day I found out. They really needed to get the job posted and get going with interviewing so I didn't want to waste their time.

Friday was a sad day too, because lots of the docs started finding out and it really touched me how sad they were to see me leave. Not to mention my chief of staff. He is so great and he felt that I was the only thing going for him. That says a lot I guess. I will miss them all terribly I will. I truly loved my time here and will be really sad to leave. I am excited about the new challenge but there are a few things I am still worried about.

It seems that I start directly on 11/19. Then we are headed to OH for T-Giving and they had no problems with this. They just want me to start. But it sounds so funny that I have heard nothing of an orientation for the hospital. This is usually something that is a must before you begin the job. So we will see what happens. I am hoping to call the lady who is currently there now and pick her brain a little. I am just curious about a few things. I wonder if it would be a little to forward? I already think it was kind of weird I wasn't offered the job by who my manager would be. They let HR handle it. But I am learning I guess that all places are different.

I did get an e-mail with benefit info in it, so I was able to review some of that. TMC has a daycare which is great, and I will get 2 vacations days a pay period. Those are some great perks for someone like me having to save all that time while being pg. No I am not yet but I plan on it soon.

Which we are on CD 7, so the next week will be FLB week :). AF has been a little long, I am still spotting so lets hope that goes away in the next day. I would like to have some fun with my husband.

Other than that things are going to be busy the next couple of weeks so I may not check in for a while. I came to RH hoping to leave a mark and I truly believe that I have done that. I have made myself proud and I know this MS will turn around pretty soon. They have great things ahead.
