On the Road.....

We are on the road, well in diff states for the time being. We headed for VA Saturday to meet up with the IL's and spend some time on the lake. It was a nice little get away for me but then as normal I tire of being in the same place for too long of a time. So I left Tim there, lovingly of course.

I left VA yesterday to head here to SC to a work conference. Yeah it is work but hey there is a little shopping involved, good food and good company so hey so what if I hear a speech or two. I usually learn a ton while listening to whatever lawyer they hired for the session.

I worked today for half a day and then headed down. I came to the realization that I really enjoy driving esp. on back roads in the South. If we ever move from the South I will be very sad, I love the antebellum feel of my home and esp SC and GA. Makes me never want to leave. It prob all started bc I watched part of a Civil War movie last night. I just loved that era and any movie about it.

I just hit up my old stand by of Chilis while traveling. I planned to walk the beach but I really need to get a little work done since I may be busy shopping and dining tomorrow night and Thursday. I want to get a few things done at least while on the company tab the least I can do right :)

I sit here full from dinner feeling the little guy moving all around. I love this time of night he is such a mover and shaker after I eat. I am getting pretty big, even I notice. We were at the doc Thursday and I was so suprised to find out I have gained almost 7 lbs since the last visit in April. It was a shocker and I am trying my best to cut back. Not dieting just cutting out the crap. So after this week and life gets back to normal the treadmill is back up and running.

So I am almost at a 20lb weight gain, and I still have almost 4 months to go. Everyone keeps telling me "you're pregnant" this I know but I really hoped to keep my weight to no more than 25lbs if I can help it. So the cut back begins, no more crap and big portions and more walking even if I dont have time it will get done. It will only make things easier when I have the baby.

So a few more days here in SC and I head back home to meet up with the IL again bf they head back to OH. We will spend a few more days with them at our house etc so they can see and enjoy our house a little. They havent seen the nursery yet so that should be a good suprise. other than that work is out of this world busy and I have a feeling May will be over bf I blink.
