Home for Good!

It feels so good to say that! It is time to start settling in for the rest of this pg and get the house completely ready. I would say my nesting instincts are kicking in. I have a list that is getting longer by the day. Just a teensy list of things to get done in the next couple of months.......some would say it is not so teensy but it doesnt look daunting to me.

We made it home yesterday in decent time, and both were so wore out that we went to bed really early. I slept great in my air conditioning that I have missed so much! It was'nt unbearable up there until the last night, I sweated something awful Sunday night but still managed to get a little bit of sleep.

We made great time Friday driving up, we headed out a little after 5 am and made it by noon. I said my hellos and had some lunch, then we both headed off to take a nap. I really did not want to get too wore out and not enjoy myself. Then Saturday we hung out at the house with Cooper and Christina till it was time to get ready for the wedding. Here are a few pics of us before and during the wedding.

Mike, Phil & Tim....just after the ceremony.

Andrew, Phil, Mike, Matt, Tim & Mike at the reception

The wedding was really nice, the ceremony was held outside which wouldnt have been so bad if the sun stayed behind a cloud but if not it was pretty brutal sitting in the sun. It was hard for me to make it through the whole thing but I did. Just not sure how good I smelled afterwards :) The reception site was very nice too, it was a new golf course that had a huge patio for dancing etc. A good time was had by all and I was glad that we were able to make it. There is really nothing like catching up with old friends, Tim doesnt get to do that too often. All of the guys in the picture except for 3 live in diff states. Andrew is now in Indi, Phil in NYC, Mike in Chicago, Matt in Canton, Tim in NC, and Mike in Columbus. It is so funny how they all scatter. Cant wait to have these good times again in Oct for Mikes wedding! CONGRATS MATT & MORIAH!!!! Cant wait to see you both again in October......Columbus here we come......with a newborn YIKES!!!!

So Sunday we found time to cool off and enjoy the weather that was starting to get pretty warm. MIL has a hot tub that she tunred down just for me so I could get in it and enjoy the cool water. She turned it down to 90 which suprisingly feels just like pool water. Here are a few photos of us enjoying the water.....well more Tim than anyone he thinks its his private pool. I couldnt resist. :)

Cooper & Uncle Tim in the hot tub, Cooper loves the water!

I couldnt resist this one of the the little man....he gets bigger everytime we see him. I cant wait for him to meet his new cousin.

So the holiday is over and back to the grind....although I was off yesterday I get a nice 4 day work week but I have to work late tonight and we have a busy week on top of that so if I stay rested that will be a miracle. I cant get over how tired I get now that the 3rd tri has started I feel like I am in 1st tri all over again. I just try and stay on top of it so I can stay ahead.

Christina sent me home with 2 bags full of Coopers stuff, I am so excited bc now I can cross some of that last minute stuff off my list. Plus some of the stuff from the shower that I already have hand me downs of I can take back and put toward the few big items we still need. I still have matress pads, bottle warmer, monitor, changing pad and covers to get just to name a few so that will help. So looks like his dresser will be filled in no time. Tim heads to NYC for Mikes bachelor party in a few weeks so that may be my prime weekend to stay home and hold myself hostage in the nurery to get it all finished. I am looking forward to it.....I love preparing for him and I cant wait to lay eyes on him after all the months of waiting and preparing....I know it will be one of the best days of my life.
