Stary Christmas

Well the holiday is mainly over now....we still have one more present opening extravaganza but that is for another post all together.

Christmas for our new family was fantabulous! Andrew gave mommy and daddy the best present ever.............SLEEP!!! Always appreciated and glorious.....on this silent night!

Little man woke up babbling so before I got him out of bed i took a little video. I will post most of his stuff on his blog for now. It is sometimes harder than i thought to keep these 2 blogs seperate since of course the majority of my life involves him but I am not quite ready to release this little outlet of mine to the IL quite yet.....there are still quite a few personal posts here. Anyway back to what this post is about! Chirstmas at the Stary's!

I'll start off with pics of the rest of the decorations that are up until Jan 10th at least! The IL are making a visit that weekend so I really wanted them to see our decorations. Another reason I waited so long to put up all the deco this year :)




So for Andrews first Christmas we of course had to have a special pair of PJ's. They lovingly say Santa Helper on his booty! They were a handme down from my ever so beloved Jordan....I am glad we were able to get some use of out them. Looking back now he should have just worn them all day....we didnt get him dressed till after lunch was over anyway!


So after Andrew had his Christmas breakfast of a 6 oz. bottle mommy began making Christmas breakfast. Lets see if we have everything we need....

Ingredients for the Quiche......Check!

Mommy's/Santa Helper to help coordinate the fesitivities.....Check!

Fresh Fruit.....Check!

Mimosas!......Check!

Warm cheesy quiche.....Check!

And the final product......the Christmas breakfast buffet....minus the small child of course :)

After breakfast we meandered into the living room to see what Santa had brought this year. Here is Andrew in his jumperoo....he loves it so far! He of course hasnt quite figured out how to actually jump in it but that time will come soon.....very soon I am sure! As for Tim and I.....santa was kind to us this year a little too nice to me I think.....my Santa went a little overboard. Here is what I got under the tree....

Tim got me a Lucy Ann pendant and necklace. I had to send it off to get personalized with my little mans name and birthdate! In the process I ordered a pendant ring with my married initials.......bad I know but that is also something I have wanted for a while now.

Steam mop...oh yes I asked for this! I used it Christmas morning! My kitchen is a bitch to mop and this thing is awesome!
Santa also brought a HP Digital Picture Frame!!! I LOVE this thing!!! It is so neat....I have it on my desk as we speak already with over 200 pictures being displayed.

I got Tim this Zamboni t-shirt that he loved....he was so hard to shop for this year. So besides lottery tickets, candy, some Wii money and a few golfballs he really outdid me this year. We were not supposed to spend a ton of money on each other but of course he did. I am a very lucky lady!

After lunch with my grandparents my aunt stopped by with Andrews little cousin Shepherd who was also enjoying his first Christmas.....he too was still in his PJ's! We let him hang out in Andrews jumperoo while little man took a nap....he helped stretch it out a bit bc Andrew can now touch the floor flat where before he couldnt! Thanks Shep! It was so nice seeing them all on the holiday.....that was def a first!

So we never got the opp to have someone take a family photo of us on the holiday so here is our best try at the deed!

So our next to last family gathering happened yesterday at my grandparents house on my dads side. Surprisingly this year we had a great time! I always worry that it will be awkward but we really enjoyed ourselves and they all enjoyed Andrew. Here are a few photos from our visit.

Andrew and I with Aunt Jennifer! She is getting married in April and I soooo excited for her! I guess a trip to the beach in April is order! I cant wait to see her happy face on that day this girl deserves it!
