Roadtrip!

Ahhhh....I am so stoked about this one. I have been trying to plan a little bachlorette get together minus the bar/club hopping atmosphere that has become so cliche. Well I think I did it as well as planning a nice little relaxation time for myself, which I desperately need!

We are heading to the Western NC mountains to a little town called Bryson City, NC to stay and spa at a little rustic spa getaway for one night but enough that it will help us all relax and enjoy. Katie over the years has beeen such a good friend and is one of the best friends a girl can have. So her sister and I are renting a 3 bedroom suite for the night, which ended up being a steal!

I have been searching high and low for an affordable place to go that wasnt too far away in case I needed to go home for some unforseen reason to be with AT. This was it


http://www.lakeviewatfontana.com, they offer a nice coffee house to get breakfast that is included, as well as afternoon wine and cheese! My kind of place. There are no restaurants on the grounds for dinner etc. but there are several places near by that we can go and enjoy, they also offer a set lunch during the day while taking in the spa activities. THey even have a quiet curfew so everyone can enjoy their relaxing spa experience 10:30pm to 9 am. It just sounds so simple and perfect. Not a crowded place with tons going on. I cant wait to snuggle with a book and get pampered. But wait this is all for Katie right! It is believe me but I am going to enjoy myself just as much. Her sister and I are paying for the room and one of her spa treatments as our little gift for the bride to be.

If I like this place enough I can see a repeat trip in my future for my 30th birthday....Jordan and I have already been talking about that we want to go away for our birthdays that year. So for now I am counting down the days till April 10th. It will be a bitter sweet night for me, leaving AT for the first time overnight is going to be hard but I know he will be fine and so will Tim who I know is going to be scare out of his mind. At least we are going up on a Friday early so AT is at daycare and coming home on Sat that way he wont have him the whole weekend which I think might just ruin them both....it is time for the ole hubby to surprise me...he is a great parent he just lets me take the reigns too much. They will both do fine!
