For Megan Grace

I blogged about this special "friend" of mine in an earlier post but didnt go into much detail. I am a very active member of the local boards on The Nest, a website for married women as well as new mothers.

Last week we learned that one of our "Mateys" will have to face something I can still not wrap my mind around. Amber who is almost 20 weeks pregnant and her husband went in for their "big" ultrasound only to find out that their sweet baby girl has a severe form of dwarfism called skeletal dysplasia, meaning she will be carried to term but her body will not grow enough to have room for her lungs.

Amber has decided to carry her sweet girl to term or for as long as she can in hopes of spending precious minutes, hours, or maybe even days with sweet Megan Grace. We as a local group have gathered around Amber and are planning to support her in any way that we can. There has been a blog set up to inform everyone of the happenings in their local area. There are several regional chapters set up and I for one hope to attend more than one event.

In closing please pray for this family and pray for the strength from God to guide them on this path that only he knows the way.
