Its that time of year again, summer/fall switch. Where I put away the tanks and shorts and bring out the jeans and sweaters etc.
Well I have a few wardrobes. Im not saying this to brag Im saying this bc Im ashamed! I knew back in 07 when I lost all the weight I needed to keep the 10/8 for after pg. I was right...Im wearing all of it now. So I was really happy that I have that stuff. Im not thrilled Im wearing it but for my pocket its great.
I also kept all the size 4/6 and a ton of other stuff from my pre-Tim days when I barely weighed 125, meaning I got all the way down to size 1/2. Its true when your happy and in love you DO gain weight...until you take control of the situation.
So to my point I guess. We are declutering bc we want to sell the house soon. So i planned a yard sale in Oct. Im getting everything together. I have clothes in there that are size 6....but I honestly dont think Ill ever get back in them. My body has changed so much since having Andrew that I need to just face the fact that in some brands of clothing I will now always wear a larger size. They will fit everywhere but my belly. I just dont know if that stretched skin EVER gets back to normal!
I have so many favorite pairs of jeans that Im saving "just in case im there again one day". I just dont think its going to happen. As frugal as my husband is he agrees...not about the weight part bc he knows I can get there if I try hard enough but bc the stuff is going to be so out of stlye that Ill just want something new.
Plus another angle to this is by the time I get where I want to be and MAY be able to wear the stuff....Ill be pg again....starting all over. Am I even making sense? Long story short....if it no where near fits I need to get rid of it. I have to be realistic about it.....finally.
So my Sunday project will be pricing multiple pairs of jeans that I once loved and made my butt look awesome! ::Sigh::

I feel ya girl. I'm the same way. I'm getting rid of stuff that were a little snug on my before getting pregnant - EVEN THOUGH I was about 5ish lbs overweight (for me) before getting pregnant. I just know b/c of my body change I'll never get there again. It's ok - you'll find another pair of jeans that make you feel and look just as great!
