Good Grief! If its not one thing its another right?

So last weekend I hit the roof with this house selling/buying thing and how people can just be SO stupid!

When we signed the contract to sell our home we agreed to rent for a max of 2 weeks from our buyer bc she was closing so quickly. In that agreement we agreed to clean out some space in the house for her to store a few things while we waited to move out etc. So Tim and I did just that. We cleaned out our whole bonus room, over hang, attic space, guest bath, and guest room closet. We were told she had very little to store. So we took everything down to our garage so we could load from there. We were told that she would be bringing her things over last Sunday. We had a friend in town and had plans to meet up and truly only thought this storage thing would take an hr tops.

You know what ASSUME spells right? WRONG! This crazy bitch showed up with a moving truck about 25ft long. FULL of ****!!!!! Oh and get this...her agent was MOVING her! And they expected to come in and be able to use our garage, guest room, bonus room, over hang and attic space. I looked at them both like they had 2 heads! Then politely asked "well where would you like us to move OUR things???!!!!" Its like they expected us to be moved out! IDK many people who rent a property that is full of someone elses stuff.....right?

So for 3 hrs she moved her things in! 3hrs! She finally got everything in the areas we had cleaned out PLUS using our front porch, and her dining room table is sitting in my living room! Ive had it! This woman doesnt even own our home yet bc the closing of the house she is selling has been pushed back till today at 4. So I guess tomorrow we will be tenants. But its bad that we dont even want to go home. We can hardly enjoy our house. Its like we live in a 2bd appt with a kitchen and a living room that has storage space. I justt dont know where people get off. I guess we are just too nice! But I will tell you this.....a storage fee will be taken out of our "rent", this lady isnt getting over on us too fast. Its just a shame it all had to come to that.

We kept telling ourselves it was only 2 weeks, and we would close on the 12th and be out of there. Well now thats looking like it wont happen. Best case scenario would be mid week next week. All due to the appraisal and the bank meltdown.

The house we want is in a lake community but not lake front. Everything in its price range isnt selling that isnt lake front. The appraiser had no comps to pull for the last 6m so he had to use what was out there and that was lake front property. So we cant get a PMI company to insure the property meaning we have to apply for a FHA loan now compared to a conventional loan. Not a huge diff but it means we have to start all over agian and another apprialsal has to be done.....what they would find diff beats me. We meet with our lender today so hopefully she can explain it more.

But now we are stuck in our current home even longer with this ladies crap in our face and we are SO over it! I have never been taken advantage of the way I was last week. I would never do that to my worst enemy. Its just sad the way people think they can get over on other people.

So for now we wait and pray that we can still close on Fri the 12th. If not we will prob have to hire moving help bc all of our friends arent able to help the following weekend. Which is also a bummer. We were able to do our final walk through yesterday and I am even more excited, it was a gorgeous day and AT was having a ball outside running around, it was a good glimpse into more fun times to come!

So for now I scower the net looking at deco ideas and pricing towel racks etc. Its giving me some sanity....oh and there is work ;) Just keep us in your prayers and hopefully this will all be done by weeks in....fingers and toes crossed!
