So yeah its been 2 weeks since my last post. I dont know how the camera was even touched we have been on the go so much. The first real weekend in the house we had to break out! We had become slaves to it so it was time to get out! It was a nice weekend for once...and in fact for this event I did not have the camera. One of Tims friends invited us to a shrimp boil (which I totally need to do....it was SO easy! Just throw everything in the pot and let it go!) and we took off to GSO to take part and get a break. It was needed by us all! We enjoyed good food, good wine, meet new people and I even shopped!

The friend we went to see is dating a diva who makes her own jewlery that sells in stores like Bloomingdales and tons of high end boutiques. She never travels w/out her goods. So yeah I even got to shop....in our friends garage no less. Here is one of her gorgeous peices. Please ignore me....I look horrible!

Pretty no? I have 2 more peices that I love! They just add something to almost anything I wear.

Ever since that weekend the weather has been gorgeous! & we have been taking advantage big time. So much so that AT is outside almost constant. Or wanting to go outside. Im having to wear him out in the am outside so he will at least lay down and take his nap....he boycotted for a few days. Which was no fun for this momma!

As for sunshine? We all found it! Even Zeke....remember him? Ive not been good about taking pics of him have I? He loves the screen porch! He just sits and watches the birds and get fresh air. Its like kitty heaven....if only it involved wet food.



As for the house. Its still coming along. We have purchased a few things and are waiting to get our living room furniture bf I put anything on the walls etc. The first few things we bought was new bedding for our room. I wanted to go with green since I already have curtains....Im not going with blinds for this house. I want to leave as many windows open for the view as I can. So curtains it is....with pull backs of course.

So here is the bedding we settled on.

Ill tell you I love it okay but I dont LOVE it. But you know what I LOVED......the price! Ill tell you why.....bc its not so expensive that I would have to cut my arm off and give it to Tim in a few years when I want a change. I would rather buy something thats decent quality but not too exp that I couldnt change it up. Lets face it Ill be sleeping in this room for prob the rest of my life....I won't always like green!

So anyway as more rooms take shape in the next few weeks Ill post more pics. I dont really have the urge to deco anything right now. Im just not in the mood. Ill get there....it took 3yrs to have our first house how we wanted it Im sure it will be the same with this one.

As for Easter weekend. We had a blast. I kept AT so busy he could barely get enough sleep ;) We hit the Zoo on Good Firday with Jordan and her brood, then Tanglewood with A, M & E. Then to gmas on Sunday for Easter lunch and family stopped by unexpected that it was a really nice treat!



In exactly 6 weeks Ill be sitting here looking at this view!

Thats right! Its almost MX time!!! I got my bathing suit....I actually found one that doesnt look horrible although I could still stand to lose a few. Im just a mom now and some places on my body will never be the same. I know we both are looking forward to it. It will be such a nice break and to be honest we need to reconnect. As a couple we always need some time to just forget about our everyday and enjoy each other. We dont do it enough.

So thats it for now. Things are finally starting to slow down at work too so hopefully I wont be such a bad blogger again anytime soon.
