Thankfull to load and unload the boat takes all of 20 minutes since we have the neighborhood peir!
I am getting pretty used to this view......so peaceful. Suprisingly there arent as many boats on the water as I thought....for some reason I thought it would be really crowded but I guess its just a big lake. Next time Ill have to take pics of the bridges. There are some that we literally only have inches to make it under. If the lake rises even a few inches we couldnt make it past the railroad bridge. More to come on that I promise....its a little scary!

For now AT is using his baby float. He likes it ok. Im working on getting him a better swimming device. The arm floats just arent enough and the life jacket is just too much. So hopefully my new plan will work. But for now he doesnt mind it. He'll be a pro by summers end Im sure!

Its my basement, which is cut into three areas. This area is mine. Behind me to my right is AT's play area, and to my left is Tim's TV/video game/do his thing area.
Its finally all set up! The DVD is hooked up, the treadmill and TV are where I want them to be. Whats missing??? ME!! & a few pretty wall hangings, inspiring pictures etc. that will come with time!
Ever since we moved into the house I havent done much in the way of "exercise". I was walking the neighborhood a couple of times a week but we all know how hot it is now. So that went out the window. I have an hr after dinner to get something in. Theres no excuse. AT has a huge area to play, while I workout, Tim can do his own thing....or workout with me eehhmmm!!
So I tried a new video last night....Im not pushing myself or beating myself up if I just dont feel like it one night. Im shooting for 3/4 days a week with swimming on the weekends while on the lake that I enjoy. Im going to switch up videos and just try diff things. Im not making any promises....Im just going to work at it and see what happens. I have half a notion to start investing in several diff workout videos. Ive always wanted to try resistace bands - I did last night and really liked it! I'd also like a yogo or pilates video. Sounds like a bday present to myself.
I know Im not at 170 like nearly 2 yrs ago. Im not exactly where I want to be but Im not far. So who can argue with that. The approach I make now albiet small is better than nothing. I like this outlook and feel refreshed by it. Ill do what I can do and wont worry about the rest. But for old times sake and hey its my blog - I sit at 148.
