I guess I feel like too we are at a stand still with the house....all the major stuff is done we wanted to get done. Or what we wanted to spend the $$ on right now. Id still love to paint a room or 2, buy a new dining room set etc. But for now Im just not "into" it. So I guess Ill wait for those cold weekends in the winter to do that.
We did buy a boat. Im excited to get out on it. Tim Im not so sure about. He seems rather nervous about the whole thing. I guess we havent had many chances to take it out since we bought it and had trouble with it. Its not that hes nervous to be on it, I think hes nervous about how to handle the situation if something happens. He isnt sure how to do it all himself.....I told him to let me help and teach me how....but he is such a protector and thinks he has to do it himself etc. IDK.....sometimes I wonder why he even bought it. I guess thats another topic for another day.
Our local pool is having a visitor day today so we are heading up there after work to see what its all about! We normally join a pool but this year I just decided to wait, mainly bc AT is such a handful after school that I wasnt sure how he would handle it. So I guess with the boat and going once a monhth to the pool on a visitor day we should get our feel of water. Im hoping that AT's swimming will improve, but i have to get him in the water more first.
We have a long trip planned to OH in August, right bf AT's 2nd bday. Which how did that happen btw? Im excited about that but a little bummed nothing till then. I have a co-worker that lives about 30m N of Myrtle Beach and Im thinking of heading that way for a few days just to get to the beach with AT. Nothing for sure yet, but it would be nice.
A pretty rambled post I know.....but I guess thats how it is right now!
