Its Already Over?!?!

It went by SO fast! Christmas that is...and the awesome visit we had with the family. Its Wednesday, and Im here at work...hardly working and they are making their way home back to more snow. It was so nice having them all here. AT and Cooper where in their own little worlds. They babysat each other quite nicely ;)

Christmas morning with the boys was a blast. They got so many goodies from Santa, Mimi & Popo, and just about everyone else I can name off the top of my head. AT is truly a blessed child.

Just look at this pile of presents!!!! Its crazy!

Tim & I also recieved some very nice gifts. Tim mainly got clothes he needs so desperatley, a golf flag I had framed for him, and a turkey fryer that he will more than likely use for Seafood boils this summer. He also got a gift card for Mens Warehouse so we can find him a nice suit for a wedding we will be attending this summer and just to have a new one in general. The one he has now is going on 10yrs.

I got the last few peices to my Willow Tree Nativity set. Even better it was a killer deal. MIL picked up a duplicate 3 wise men bc we all couldnt remember what I had from last year. So I went to excange it and was able to get the $100 Creche for 95% off plus using a $25 gift card. Means this bad boy was $7! SCORE! Love it!

& Im prob the last person on the planet who doesnt have an IPOD Shuffle. Its okay, Im fine with it. You should be too ;) I basically wanted one to use in the neighborhood when I walk and on the treadmill. Nothing fancy just something to have a few music tunes on. Its the size of my thumb perfect!

Tim also picked me up one of these.......

Bc Ill be using it while I get my ass kicked by this chick! I would call her something else but I try and keep this blog clean ;) Ive read a few reviews and it sounds like its going to be a hard one. I may only try this once a week until I get a little stronger. I prob need to work in the normal 30DS for a couple of weeks too, just to stir the pot.

But really to be honest, Ive just been doing a whole lot of this!

I havent been on the scale in several weeks. I was at my same 148.5 right bf the holiday began and I just havent even wanted to torture myself by getting on the scale in the last few weeks. I need to get my routine going again and Ill be fine. But my house is a mess right now and Im just not going to stress myself out. I have ALL year!! Well at least 7 1/2 months.

I was NOT good at taking very many photos on Cmas like I talked about last week, here is the one and only photo that was snapped of us together. & we all just look a bit ragged... oh well!

Sunday there were so many plans in the works. It was the day all of MY family was supposed to make the trip and come hang out for a couple of hours for a visit. I was home afterall so that meant I would get to see my family too this year even if the IL were in town. But instead we woke up to this!

About 5 inches of it. Worse for my gparents in N Winston. They had almost 8 inches. There would be no visitors. I was REALLY bummed and pretty down all day. I had a little melt down. It just wasnt the same. Im not sure what the rest of the weekend would have been like if we didnt have our company. They def helped keep my mind off of it all, but I wont lie I missed hugging my Gma like crazy. I wanted to feel her warm cozy embrace. Cmas just wasnt the same for me. But I am glad that Tim was able to enjoy his family this year. I often have to remind myself he is the one who is sacrificing his family for us most days. He loves it here in NC but its still got to be hard.

So we all just went outside, built snowmen, and got out the sled.

That is until someone decided it would be a good idea to try and sled down to the lake that is ful of rocks and everything else. & when I say rocks I mean boulders. The Lake is called High Rock for a reason!

So he ended up on his belly & with a broken sled!

Way to go hon!

Now trying to recover from the "accident"

But the rest of the weekend was spent playing with the new Lionel train AT recd from Aunt Nina and getting all their energy out in the tunnel tent!

While the grownups did more of this.................

& this..

But most of all I just enjoyed this......the 2 boys loving each other! Family.....its exactly what its all about right? Even if they are with you over the phone. :/

As for the New Year.....My resolutions are the same. But Ill share those in another post. We have plans for NYE, and Im excited. I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
